    Level 3:
    Prepare your "help guides" on the block day that can be used during the exam.
    Know these terms-
    (Unit 1)Teller Amendment, Annexation, Imperialism, Platt Amendment, Isolationism, (Unit 2) Panama Canal, The Jungle, Muckrakers, Food and Drug Act, Suffrage, Monopoly, (Unit 3) "Poor Little Belgium", Central Powers, Allied Powers, Doughboys, U-boats, A.E.F, Armistice, Versailles Treaty,(Unit 4) Bootlegging, Speakeasies, 18th Amendment, 19th Amendment, 21st Amendment, Flappers, Teapot Dome, Harlem Renaissance, Temperance, "Jazz Age", The Spirit of St. Louis, Scofflaw, The Invisible Empire, Racketeering.
    There will be approximately 85 scantron questions that will include T or F, Multiple Choice, Identifies, Political Cartoons, and Reading Comprehension etc.
    There will be the "Vanity" plate section and some Short Answers Questions. The Short Answer Questions will be about 1. Progressives and America 2. World War 1 3. Changes in America during the 1920's
    Honors:
    Your exam will be approximately 165 scantron questions that will include T or F, Multiple choice, a timeline, Identifies matching section, famous people matching section, and a small presidents section.
    Make sure you look over pictures and cartoons. There will be an analysis of cartoons with short answer questions and an essay (about the brutality of WW1 and its effects or the significance of the Roaring 20's)
    Level 2:
    Your exam will be approximately 130 scantron questions which will be T or F, Multiple Choice, Identifies matching section, Identify the person section, "Vanity plate", reading comprehension and one essay. Your essay will be "In what ways did the 1920's Transform America?

    "George Washington learned to become a great leader during the French and Indian War"....must be cited since it is a direct quote. When using a direct quote that is 4 lines or longer...follow the MLA rules for a "long quote". There are different rules on how you cite this with intext citation.

    Go to the "Immigration" button on the wiki. Look at the top for the Immigration terms. Write down the terms in your notebooks and look up their meanings/definitions and write those down as well.

    Here are the terms for you to begin studying.
    1. Immigration- the acto fo moving to another country to live there.
    2. Urbanization- taking on the characteristics of a city.
    3. Industrialization- introducing manufacturing and other productive economic activity into an area.
    4. Nativist- protecting the interests of native inhabitants from immigrants.
    5. Slum/ghetto- a poor neighborhood specifically one where many immigrants live.
    6. Assimilate- to take in and absorb as one's own. To blend in, adapt or adjust.
    7. Push Factors- Things that "push" someone ouf of their home country.
    8. Pull Factors- Things that "pull" or attract someone to their new country.
    9. Chinese Exclusion Act- Passed in 1882. It was the first law prohibiting a certain ethnic group of workers from entering the United States.
    10. American Protective Association- An organization of Protestants in America that were trying to stop Catholics from influencing American politics.

    Make sure you finish reading the 3 primary source accounts of the USS Maine explosion.
    On the back of that sheet, list 3 interesting details from each account. Then write about the account you thought was most interesting and why.
