Mr. Johnson grew up in southern New Jersey and spent his time skateboarding, going to the shore, playing soccer and reading about history. He went to Geneva College in western Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor's degree in history. After college, Mr. Johnson traveled extensively around the United States and Europe. He worked as an archeologist in Williamsburg, Virginia and later in North Wales, Pennsylvania. Eventually he went back to Immaculata University to earn a teaching certificate and later a Master’s degree in Education from Gratz College. He began teaching at Upper Dublin High School in 2000.
Mr. Johnson is happily married with two wonderful children, collects and writes about military antiques and is working on a book about World War II.
